Marlin Resort is actively recruiting an experienced and strategic IT Manager to lead our information technology operations. This key management position, based in Accra, requires a seasoned professional capable of overseeing our entire IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and driving technological innovation to enhance guest and operational experiences.

Position Overview and Impact

The IT Manager will assume full responsibility for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all technology systems within the resort. You will ensure the seamless operation of our network, hardware, software, and digital services, directly supporting both guest satisfaction and internal efficiency. This role is critical for safeguarding data security, managing IT budgets, and aligning technology initiatives with our business objectives.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

As the leader of our technology function, you will handle a diverse range of strategic and operational tasks.

Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the resort’s operational and guest service goals.
Oversee the daily performance of all IT systems, including networks, servers, hardware, and critical software applications.
Manage and mentor the IT support team, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues for staff and guests.
Ensure robust cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols are in place and regularly updated.
Manage the IT department budget, conduct vendor negotiations, and oversee procurement of technology equipment and services.
Plan and execute technology upgrades, new system integrations, and digital innovation projects.
Provide technical guidance and training to staff across various departments to improve digital literacy and system use.
Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, licenses, and procedures for compliance and continuity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of progressive experience in information technology, with a significant portion in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure within a hospitality, resort, or similar customer-focused environment is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated expertise in network administration, system security, and cloud-based solutions.
Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, strategic mindset with a commitment to maintaining high availability and performance of all IT services.
