Laboratory Technician Job in USA 2026 with H-1B Visa Sponsorship
Parallel, one of the largest multi-state wellness and cannabis science companies in the United States, is hiring a Laboratory Technician for its Franklin, Massachusetts, cultivation and production facility. This is a full-time, on-site role working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, supporting advanced extraction and production operations.

About Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a key role in the extraction and production team, supporting daily operations that transform raw materials into high-quality concentrate products. The role is hands-on and process-driven, requiring strong attention to detail, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in a regulated laboratory environment.
You will contribute directly to production efficiency, compliance, and product consistency while working closely with the Lab Manager and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, evolving industry.

Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day extraction and concentrate production processes, including filtering, distillation, mixing, and evaporation
- Follow standard operating procedures with safety and compliance as the highest priority
- Set up, operate, and break down extraction systems under the guidance of the Lab Manager
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production logs, solvent usage records, and run documentation
- Produce and document crude oils, distillates, waxes, shatter, and other concentrate products
- Clean, maintain, and inspect equipment to ensure continuous operational readiness
- Monitor quality control requirements and report any deviations or production issues
- Communicate maintenance needs, troubleshooting issues, and operational risks clearly to management
- Support additional laboratory and production tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid government-issued ID
- Minimum 2 years of experience in analytical quality, QA/QC, or regulated production environments preferred
- Technical aptitude and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain detailed documentation
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs unassisted, and work in a lab environment
