The Network Design Estimator is responsible for creating detailed designs, cost estimates, and fieldwork packages for network extensions and maintenance projects. Job Duties

As a Network Design Estimator, your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and confirming the scope of work and designs for customers.
• Conducting site inspections, surveys, and research as required.
• Compiling accurate job costings and fieldwork packages for various projects.
• Collaborating with the Network and Contracting teams during work pack development.
• Responding to requests for information and resolving any issues promptly.
• Ensuring all deliverables meet technical and commercial performance objectives.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• At least two years of technical experience in the electricity distribution industry.
• Experience with overhead and underground distribution system design and costing is preferred.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field is advantageous.
• Proficiency in GIS software for producing and interpreting diagrams.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is essential.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office products; SAP knowledge is preferred.
• A full current driver’s license is mandatory.
• Geographic knowledge of the Far North region is beneficial.
