Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Axel Adler Scholarship 2026, applicants need to fulfill these criteria:
- Obligated to pay tuition fees in Sweden.
- Submit an application for a campus program at the University of Gothenburg as your top choice through universityadmissions.se.
- Submit a full research application by 15 January 2026.
- Submit the application fee and evidence of study eligibility by 2 February 2026 at the latest.
Students participating in online programs are ineligible. Nonetheless, programs that have partial study abroad obligations or temporary adjustments for distance-learning (like those resulting from pandemics) still qualify.

- Scholarship Invitation: Applicants who meet the criteria will get an email approximately on 10 February 2026 containing details for the scholarship application.
- Get Your Documents Ready: You must provide:
- CV (maximum 3000 characters) – Emphasize your educational background, competencies, and experiences pertinent to your selected program.

Selection Process
The scholarship committee, made up of academic personnel, thoughtfully assesses candidates according to:

Every program will grant a single scholarship, while the Artistic Faculty will provide a total of four across all its programs.
