Job Duties

As an Electrician/Leading Hand, your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing electrical projects to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Performing installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including solar solutions.
• Working with fibre and copper cabling, LAN networking, and commissioning.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Demonstrating modern fault-finding and repair skills for electrical systems.
• Ensuring compliance with the Electrical Safety Act and relevant regulations.
• Promoting a culture of safety and teamwork among all team members.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• An Electrical Trade Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency and a current Electrical Licence.
• Experience with small to large-scale commercial projects.
• Preferred hands-on experience with solar systems, batteries, and telecommunications.
• Strong ability to read and apply technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on effective project delivery.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulations.
• A police check is required for government contracts.
