  • PhD SHAPE & S.J.D.: full fee exemption (valued at 2,500 QAR for each credit).
  • STEM Master’s programs: 75% discount.
  • SHAPE Master’s, MA degrees, and J.D.: 60% discount.

Monthly allowances:

  • International PhD candidates: 9,000 QAR (around $2,460) for a maximum of 45 months
  • International Master’s students: 7,000 QAR (around $1,915) for a period of up to 21 months.

  • A round-trip ticket (arriving at the beginning of the program and departing post-graduation).

Conditions and Responsibilities

Scholarships are granted based on merit or financial need and are subject to the availability of funds. Graduate students enrolled full-time must serve as Research Assistants for 10 hours weekly under their main supervisors. They might also work as Teaching Assistants for a maximum of 10 hours each week, compensated at 50 QAR per hour.

Moreover, students may participate in the Student Employment Program for a maximum of 10 hours of work each week. It is essential to understand that the university does not cover housing, which students must handle using their stipend or personal finances.
