The Centre for Design History (CDH) at the University of Brighton is excited to announce that it is now accepting applications for its prestigious International Visiting Research Fellow (VRF) program for 2025/26. Funding Package
The CDH Visiting Research Fellowship offers:
- Up to £1,000 for travel, lodging, and research-associated costs.
- An extra £200 administration charge paid by CDH.
- Use of University of Brighton amenities, such as libraries, archives, seminars, a campus card, and a University email account.
Kindly be aware that the fellowship does not provide a salary or stipend; therefore, applicants need to secure sufficient personal funding to cover their stay. The fellowship generally includes a stay of one (01) week to two (02) months, while the complete fellowship lasts for one (01) calendar year.
Eligibility Requirements
To submit an application, applicants need to:
- Be recognized scholars with a PhD or comparable professional experience.
- Engage in research that corresponds with the Centre’s six thematic areas.
- Demonstrate dedication to cooperative research and academic sharing.
- Have the opportunity to carry out some of their research in Brighton and engage with CDH’s academic community.
- Candidates who finished their PhD in the past 24 months should apply for the CDH Post-doc VRF scheme instead.
