UNESCO/Poland Archaeology & Conservation Fellowship 2025

Fellowship Sponsorship
The Polish government will cover all tuition fees for the full 9-month fellowship and allow access to university resources. Moreover, individuals will obtain a monthly allowance of PLN 2,200 if they possess a Master’s degree, or PLN 1,800 if they have a Bachelor’s degree, to help with living and housing costs in Poland. Upon arrival, fellows will be granted a one-time stipend of PLN 2,200 (for M.A. degree holders) or PLN 1,800 (for B.A. degree holders) to aid in engaging with cultural, historical, or academic activities throughout their time in Poznań.
Conversely, UNESCO will pay for the international round-trip airfare from the fellow’s home country to Poland and return, furnish complete health insurance for the entire fellowship period, and grant a one-time special allowance of US$120 to assist with incidental personal costs.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must not exceed 40 years of age at the time of application.
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally in archaeology or conservation).
- Have a strong command of English (both in writing and speaking).
Study Areas
The chosen fellows will engage in a multidisciplinary program that encompasses:
- A primary dish: Innovative interdisciplinary techniques in archaeological work.
- Additional modules at the Faculty of Archaeology, Adam Mickiewicz University.
