About the Role

Responsibilities
- Coordinate HPB patient referrals, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up pathways
- Liaise with local and regional teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
- Monitor and support adherence to cancer pathways and surveillance programmes
- Identify, escalate, and manage clinical risks to maintain patient safety
- Support patients, families, and carers throughout benign and cancer treatment pathways
- Ensure investigations, results, and MDT outcomes are obtained and actioned promptly
- Contribute to multidisciplinary working to prevent pathway delays or breaches
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current UK NMC registration
- Experience as a Band 5 Staff Nurse with readiness to progress into specialist practice
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient-centred care
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary and regional teams
- Willingness to develop specialist HPB knowledge under supervision
