About the Role

Responsibilities

Coordinate HPB patient referrals, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up pathways
Liaise with local and regional teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
Monitor and support adherence to cancer pathways and surveillance programmes
Identify, escalate, and manage clinical risks to maintain patient safety
Support patients, families, and carers throughout benign and cancer treatment pathways
Ensure investigations, results, and MDT outcomes are obtained and actioned promptly
Contribute to multidisciplinary working to prevent pathway delays or breaches

Requirements

Registered Nurse with current UK NMC registration
Experience as a Band 5 Staff Nurse with readiness to progress into specialist practice
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient-centred care
Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary and regional teams
Willingness to develop specialist HPB knowledge under supervision
