Job Responsibilities

As a printing press operator, the candidate will have several key responsibilities:

• Installation and Modifications: The candidate will install plates or cylinders and implement necessary modifications.
• Ink Management: The candidate will regulate color and viscosity and fill ink fountains as required.
• Press Operation: The candidate will assemble the press and operate it at a reduced pace to verify samples.
• Quality Control: Using a computer-controlled console, the candidate will oversee the quality of routine press cycles.
• Cleaning Duties: At the end of each press cycle, the candidate must remove and clean plates and cylinders.
