The Role
We are seeking a strategic Partner Manager for the Eastern Region to execute our partner ecosystem strategy and drive regional sales goals. As a vital member of the go-to-market team, you will build and orchestrate a comprehensive partner network, including Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Distributors, Service Delivery, and Technology Alliance Partners. You will represent the full BeyondTrust portfolio, enabling partners to grow their business and ensure mutual customer success.
What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you will be the linchpin between our partners and our internal sales engine. Your key responsibilities will include:
- First, you will foster peer-to-peer relationships between partners and BeyondTrust Account Executives, serving as the primary liaison.
- You will be directly accountable for driving partner-originated sales opportunities and tracking progress against quarterly targets.
- A core responsibility involves coaching our internal sales team on effective partner engagement strategies at both the account and opportunity levels.
- Furthermore, you will conduct regular business reviews to assess partner performance, identify growth areas, and implement improvement plans.
- You will also identify cross-sell and add-on opportunities in collaboration with our partners.
- Additionally, you will deliver sales enablement, orchestrate training programs, and provide partners with essential marketing materials and competitive insights.
- You will manage channel dynamics by enforcing clear rules of engagement and maintaining excellent internal and external communication.
- Finally, you will lead joint account mapping initiatives to ensure 100% partner involvement in key opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate is a seasoned partner manager with a proven sales background:
- A minimum of four years of experience in partner management within the software security sector.
- Prior experience working as an Account Executive or Partner Manager with large national partners is essential.
- Direct experience engaging partners in the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market is a mandatory requirement.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the partner ecosystem within the assigned territory.
- A demonstrated ability to build lasting business relationships and execute strategic joint business plans.
- A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue objectives.
- High energy, self-motivation, exceptional communication skills, and high emotional intelligence.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Existing relationships with current or prospective BeyondTrust partners.
- Experience analyzing performance data to optimize strategies.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) systems.
