As human resource personnel, your job descriptions are categorized into five sections, and they are:
Recruitment and Retention
- You will represent the company at job fairs, interact with the public, and promote the company’s brand and professions in an outgoing and positive way.
- Also, you will complete the employment process, which includes advertising job openings, holding interviews, obtaining references, and hiring proactively.
- Lastly, you will improve the organization’s recruitment and retention strategies
Performance Management:
- You will operate the organization’s hotline to oversee absenteeism and performance.
- You will supervise the team’s internal education initiative, which facilitates its expansion and development.
- Lastly, you will compile and present performance reviews and check-ins throughout the year (performance reviews are conducted on our employment sites).
Labour Relations:
- Firstly, you will provide daily guidance and advice to ensure that the collective agreement is interpreted and carried out consistently.
- Secondly, you will participate in the collective bargaining process by researching labor relations-related topics such as historical practices, applicable legislation, workplace issues, grievance-related trends, and case histories, as well as giving ideas for negotiation methods.
- You will also create language for collective agreements, evaluate proposals and their associated costs and advantages, and create additional negotiation materials.
Culture and Events
- You will oversee the weekly programs for condolences, anniversaries, life milestones, and tenure recognition.
General:
- You are going to develop and revise policies
- You will contribute to the development of content for our website and social media platforms

Qualifications Required for HR Jobs in Canada
- You must have a post-secondary education-appropriate BCOM or BBA degree with a focus on labor relations or human resource management
- Secondly, you must have a minimum of five years of human resources experience
- Lastly, you must have experience in labor relations and be in charge of grievance handling, collective bargaining interpretation, and progressive discipline concerns
- Multitasking, working in a fast-paced setting, and delivering solutions on time are all skills you should possess.
- You must also be able to keep things private.
