InnovInOnco Graduate Excellence Scholarship 2025 | Study in France

Lyon Saint-Etienne University is pleased to inform you that the Excellence Scholarship Campaign is now open to master’s students who want to enroll in one of the InnovInOnco graduate programs.

The InnovInOnco Graduate Program Excellence Scholarship provides €10,000 per year to help overseas students who are enrolled in Master 1 or 2 Cancer programs in France. Moreover, this fellowship, which prioritizes academic quality and research potential, is available to exceptional individuals in the biosciences and allied subjects. The aim of this program is to train students in the field of oncology.

Scholarship Coverage

For ten months, each scholarship offers €1,000 per month, for a total of €10,000 per year to scholarship candidates. Students who enroll in Master 1 or 2 Cancer programs are supported financially, and their options include:

  • Cancer Biology, which focuses on the biological causes of cancer and offers in-depth research internships as well as seminars by distinguished researchers.
  • Clinical trials, medication development, and therapeutic advances are highlighted in Therapeutic Innovations in Oncology, which includes contributions from the Lyon Veterinary School.
  • Master of Cancer Bioengineering, which provides an interdisciplinary understanding of the physico-chemical characteristics of cancer and state-of-the-art technological methods.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be foreign students living outside of France at the time of application
  • We permit applicants with dual French citizenship.
  • Also, possess an undergraduate degree in oncology or a master’s degree in a related discipline, or have finished one year of such a program.
  • Excellent academic background.
  • Internship and technical skills in research
  • Motivation and consistency in the professional project.

Supporting Documents Required

  • Registration certificate issued by the student’s home university
  • Academic history, ECTS scores, or comparable merit-based standards
  • A Cambridge certificate attesting to the student’s proficiency in English (minimum B2), the TOEFL, or the IELTS
  • Motivation letter
  • Then, Students from Europe should provide a copy of their passport or other current, recognized identification.
  • Candidates from abroad must present a copy of their valid, current passport.
  • Finally, A reference letter with one academic referee’s contact information is optional.

InnovInOnco Graduate Excellence Scholarship Applications Process

The application has to contain:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree certificates serve as proof of education.
  • One-page CV
  • A one-page motivation letter outlining one’s career objectives and reasons for enrolling in the program.
  • Academic records from the Bachelor’s degree onward are called transcripts.
  • Moreover, provide any pertinent studies, theses, or publications if you have any.
  • TOEFL, IELTS, or a comparable English proficiency test is required, though natural English speakers are exempt.
  • Lastly, A copy of a valid identification document.
