Responsibilities

Lead, hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Production Operations Engineers
Drive strategy and execution for global production trading environments
Design and manage follow-the-sun 24/7 global support coverage
Define and enforce operational standards including SLAs, SLOs, KPIs, and control frameworks
Own the full incident lifecycle: response, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation
Improve automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment workflows
Ensure production readiness for new exchanges, trading strategies, and infrastructure changes
Manage colocation environments, redundancy, capacity planning, and performance headroom
Contribute technically to tooling, platforms, observability, and fault tolerance improvements
Represent production operations in leadership forums and align priorities with business goals

Requirements

Proven experience leading SRE, production engineering, or technical operations teams
Strong background in Linux-based distributed systems in real-time or low-latency environments
Experience managing global, multi-region operational support models
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability/monitoring systems
Strong incident management leadership in high-pressure environments
Experience defining and managing SLAs/SLOs using data-driven reliability metrics
Knowledge of colocation infrastructure, system tuning, and real-time telemetry (highly valued)
Exposure to high-frequency trading or low-latency financial systems (strong advantage)
Excellent communication skills and ability to align technical and business stakeholders
