Job Title: Cluster Retail Programs and Marketing Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Cluster Retail Programs and Marketing Manager. This senior role offers a unique blend of commercial, operational, and marketing leadership. You will be responsible for developing and executing the retail network plan, driving non-fuel revenue, and leading marketing initiatives across your cluster. This position is central to achieving our market growth, profitability, and brand strength objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Your role encompasses three core pillars: Retail Programs, Convenience Retail, and Marketing.

1. Retail Programs & Network Development:

First, you will develop, manage, and execute the country retail network plan in alignment with the overarching business strategy
You will evaluate, lead, and administer all retail projects, from new site acquisitions (NTIs/NTPs) to refurbishments and lease renewals
A key duty involves reviewing station Profit & Loss statements to identify and action optimization opportunities.
Furthermore, you will ensure all retail sites maintain valid licenses, leases, and compliance with regulatory and HSSE standards.

2. Convenience Retail & Non-Fuel Revenue (NFR):

You will act as the subject matter expert, developing and implementing the Convenience Retail strategy.
You will manage all non-fuel retail contracts, relationships, and rental income, ensuring they meet volumetric and financial targets.
Additionally, you will develop business cases for capital investments and oversee the execution of site disposal plans.

3. Marketing, Promotions & Operations:

You will support the regional marketing team to implement local marketing plans and promotions, acting as the local focal point for agencies and activations.
You will collaborate with lubricant teams to deploy targeted product promotions.
You will also ensure the full implementation of company policies and procedures across all retail operational projects.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

Tertiary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related FMCG field.

Experience:

At least five years of experience in retail commercial management.
Experience within the fuel industry, project management, or network development is a significant advantage.
Proven experience in management analysis, reporting, and financial oversight.

Essential Skills:

Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
High level of commercial and financial acumen.
Proficiency in MS Office and strong program/project management skills.
Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
