The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically-minded Account Officer to join our finance team. This role is central to the integrity of our financial operations, with a specific focus on our proprietary MonakERP system. You will be the key supporter for all accounting and finance modules within the platform, ensuring accurate data, smooth functionality, and seamless integration with other business operations. Key Responsibilities

You will serve as the primary point of contact for the financial modules of our ERP system. Your core duties will include:

First, you will provide comprehensive support for the accounting and finance modules of the MonakERP system, addressing user queries and troubleshooting issues.
You will perform accurate and timely financial data entry, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly within the system.
A central responsibility involves maintaining and optimizing the ERP’s financial modules to ensure smooth, efficient daily operation.
Furthermore, you will guarantee that all financial processes within the system comply with established accounting standards and company policies.
You will also work to ensure effective integration between the finance modules and other operational modules (e.g., inventory, sales) for cohesive data flow.
Additionally, you will assist in generating financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting period-end closing procedures within the ERP environment.
You will contribute to testing system updates and training other staff on financial module functionalities.
Finally, you will help maintain data integrity and security within the financial components of the system.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a foundational education in business or accounting and an aptitude for systems:

A Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required.
A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency with accounting software or ERP systems; specific experience with MonakERP or similar platforms is a distinct advantage.
High accuracy and attention to detail for meticulous data management.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate system processes.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills to support users and collaborate with different departments.
