Key Responsibilities

You will architect and manage database systems, optimizing schemas and queries for both relational (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases to ensure speed and reliability.
A central responsibility involves building clean, well-documented RESTful APIs and seamlessly integrating third-party services.
Furthermore, you will implement robust security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect sensitive data and system integrity.
You will also optimize server performance through strategic caching, load balancing, and scalability planning to handle significant user traffic.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Finally, you will create comprehensive documentation for codebases, APIs, and processes to ensure seamless team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

About You

You are a proficient server-side developer with a strong grasp of backend architecture. You confidently build systems using Node.js and Python and have deep experience optimizing both SQL and NoSQL databases. Creating secure, scalable APIs is second nature to you. You prioritize performance and security in every solution and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where clear documentation and shared knowledge are valued.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following experience and abilities:

Solid professional experience in server-side development with Node.js and Python.
Strong expertise in both relational (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) database systems.
Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
In-depth knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
Hands-on experience with performance optimization techniques like caching, load balancing, and scalability planning.
Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset for working within agile, cross-functional teams
Strong, structured documentation habits.
A degree in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous, but we equally welcome candidates with substantial equivalent professional experience.
