Data Science Engineer (m/f/x) Job in Berlin, Germany 2024 | Bring! Labs AG

We are seeking a Data Science engineer to work with us in our office located in Berlin. We split our work between in-person and remote work 40/60, which means that we meet in person for at least 40 percent of the month to strengthen our sense of teamwork. You can work remotely for the remaining 60% of the time both inside Germany and for 20 days annually outside of it.

This 40/60 split should allow you to visit our office frequently. We assist you with your commute by providing a 50% discount on train tickets inside Germany, known as the “Bahncard 50.” Please be aware that we are unable to assist you with moving or obtaining a visa.

About this role

You will convert unprocessed data into systems that are helpful using a variety of techniques. You will, for instance, develop algorithms and carry out statistical analysis. In general, you’ll aim for efficiency through matching corporate objectives with data systems. The following are included in the role:

• Assess and arrange unprocessed data
• Construct pipelines and data systems.
• Analyze the goals and demands of the business.
• Analyze patterns and trends
• Analyze complicated data and present your findings.

Requirements

Our goal is to revolutionize the way consumers and users manage and arrange their purchasing experiences. We are seeking someone with significant experience in data science or engineering for this role. If you can say that you have:

• Strong software engineering abilities and technical competence in machine learning, data mining, and data analytics
• Experience in data engineering or a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
• Familiarity with computer languages (e.g., Java, Scala, Python)
• It is advantageous to be familiar with business intelligence tools like Looker and Adverity.
• Practical knowledge of SQL database design Excellent mathematical, analytical, and statistical abilities
• Hadoop and Apache Spark knowledge is a big plus.
• A plus is having prior experience with cloud systems like AWS.
• Proficient in business English, ideally
