Our enterprise console team, which is in charge of creating and managing our high-end game server orchestrator in addition to other services, is searching for a senior backend engineer (m/f/x). You will design, build, and test the scalable and dependable web APIs that enable our enterprise console in your role as a senior backend engineer (m/f/x).

To provide an excellent user experience, you will also work in tandem with other engineers, product managers, and designers. Working with a contemporary stack built on Go, K8S, and other cloud-native technologies will be your task. Additionally, you will be able to participate in and gain knowledge from our open-source initiatives.

Your Objective

• You are in charge of the features and functionality that support web APIs for the corporate console, including their design, implementation, and upkeep.
• By using best practices and standards, conducting code reviews, testing, and monitoring, you can guarantee the backend code and infrastructure has high quality, performance, and security.
• You give the root cause analysis and solutions while debugging and troubleshooting complicated problems across the whole stack.
• To develop user-centric solutions that satisfy business and technical requirements, you work in collaboration with other engineers, product managers, and designers.
• You share your knowledge and experience with the team and mentor junior engineers with technical advice.
• You assess and incorporate new tools, and stay current with emerging trends and technology in the backend development space, and frameworks as needed.

Your profile

• You possess an equivalent amount of job experience or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline.
• You have worked professionally in backend development for at least five years, ideally using Go.
• You are an expert in creating fault-tolerant, scalable Web APIs using contemporary design techniques like event-driven design.
• You’ve worked with cloud platforms, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and K8S.
• You’ve worked with CI/CD tools, testing frameworks, and code quality tools before.
• You work well with others and have outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
• It is desired if you have experience creating items for developers and developing games.
