Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be responsible for supporting specific business units with all employee-related problems as the Senior People Operations Manager.

To improve and optimize Global People Operations procedures and policies, you will work in tandem with your fellow People Operations Managers. Within a collaborative leadership framework, you assume situational leadership obligations, although not have official line management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Management of the Employee Lifecycle:

  • Act as the direct point of contact and assistance for staff members of both domestic and foreign subsidiaries for the duration of their employment.
  • Manage administrative duties such as managing HRIS data, handling references, parental leave requests, and employment contracts.
  • Oversee the foreign worker visa application process and assist with their smooth relocation.
  • Along with working in tandem with other People Operations Managers, HRBPs, People Analytics & Infrastructure, Legal, Payroll, and Enterprise IT, ensure the timely and high-quality execution of daily Global People Operations.

Projects & Process Enhancements:

  • Own Global People Processes standardization and centralization.
  • Oversee People Operations with an emphasis on empowerment and collaboration but without official line management responsibilities.
  • Take lessons from your business units to optimize Global People Operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee initiatives to automate and digitize people operations procedures. Work together with our infrastructure and people analytics teams to provide automatic reporting and controls and guarantee high-quality data.
  • Take the lead on a variety of projects, such as worldwide benefits programs.

Your Profile

  • A university degree or a comparable certificate after completing an apprenticeship successfully with an emphasis on business administration, organizational psychology, or human resources.
  • Many years of experience in HR operations in a fast-paced, multinational setting. If you are keen to move into a more global and expansive capacity and have substantial experience in People Operations within the framework of German labor law, this role is also ideal for you.
  • Solid understanding of labor law in Germany. It is beneficial to have prior experience with foreign people operations (UK, US, Spain, Italy).
  • Capacity to assist, encourage, and mentor a variety of parties toward an effective outcome. self-assurance to speak and make judgments. Prior leadership experience is beneficial.
  • History of overseeing projects. Possessing digitalization and automation project experience and enthusiasm is advantageous.
  • An intense interest in operational HR combined with a solid grasp of service orientation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work both individually and collaboratively.
  • German fluency and excellent English language abilities.
  • Prior knowledge of Google Workspace, Jira, and Personio is advantageous.
