Job Overview

As a Corporate Credit Manager, you will serve as the dedicated credit expert for a team of Relationship Managers. You will manage a portfolio of high value, complex corporate client relationships. Importantly, you will act as the vital link between the business and Credit sanctioning teams. Your core mission is to develop robust credit solutions while maintaining the highest standards of risk management and client service.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Risk Management (Primary Focus)

First, you will conduct thorough assessments of client businesses. This involves analyzing both business and credit risks tied to our products and services.
Subsequently, you will design practical and high quality credit lending structures. Your goal is to create solutions that facilitate faster credit approvals.
Furthermore, you will prepare comprehensive and persuasive credit applications, complete with all necessary documentation, for submission to sanctioning authorities.
Additionally, you will manage all financial information submitted by clients to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
You will also continuously monitor the portfolio’s health. Using sanctioned condition triggers and internal guidelines, you will identify early warning signs and escalate concerns promptly to both the Sanctioner and Relationship Manager.

Business Partnership & Risk Support

You will work closely with Relationship Managers on new and existing credit proposals. In this capacity, you will provide expert guidance on credit appetite and consult with central Credit teams as needed.
To truly understand client needs, you will attend customer meetings alongside the Relationship Manager whenever credit related discussions are required.
Moreover, you will deliver service that consistently aligns with and exceeds agreed business objectives.
Proactively, you will contribute to change initiatives aimed at improving processes, enhancing quality and reducing costs.
Finally, you will support the strategic industry focus as directed by Corporate and Credit leadership.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional. You should possess a deep understanding of corporate credit risk and a proven ability to craft complex financial solutions. Excellent partnership skills are essential for collaborating with Relationship Managers, clients and credit sanctioners. A commitment to maintaining portfolio integrity and driving high service quality is paramount.
