Job Title: Marketing Data Analyst 

Job Description

To accelerate our impact, we are seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy Marketing Data Analyst. This role is pivotal in transforming our marketing operations from intuition-based to data-driven. You will build real-time insights, automate workflows, and provide the actionable intelligence needed to scale our campaigns and optimize performance across the continent.

What You Will Do

Data Analytics and Dashboard Leadership:

  • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for all marketing squads, including acquisition, retention, and brand teams.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Investment (ROI), retention rates, and conversion funnel metrics.
  • Transform complex marketing data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives for strategic decision-making.

Marketing Automation and AI Integration:

  • Lead the automation of at least 50% of repetitive marketing workflows, including reporting, audience segmentation, and campaign triggers.
  • Integrate and manage AI-powered tools for generating creative assets like text, visuals, and audio.
  • Collaborate with squads to implement performance monitoring tools that enhance campaign agility and quality.

Performance Optimization and Insight Generation:

  • Provide daily and weekly insights on paid performance, organic trends, and overall funnel health.
  • Recommend data-driven campaign improvements using historical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Analyze user behavior and segmentation across different markets to inform localized marketing strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with Paid, Creative, Organic, Field, and Retention teams to define metrics and optimize cross-channel campaigns.
  • Work with Product and Growth teams on A/B testing, attribution modeling, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Support each squad with tailored, hyper-relevant analytics to meet their specific goals.

Who You Are

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a marketing or growth-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or Apache Superset.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, or R are highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing platforms like Meta Ads, Google Ads, CRM systems, and Webflow.
  • A proven track record of automating workflows using tools like Zapier, HubSpot, or Google Apps Script.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
