Study in USA | ACS Catalyst Scholarship 2026/2027
The American Chemical Society has opened the application portal for the ACS Catalyst Scholarship for the 2026 to 2027 academic year. This announcement creates an exciting opportunity for students who want to build strong careers in the chemical sciences. Beginning on December 1, 2025, aspiring chemists can submit their applications and take the next major step toward a future shaped by scientific discovery, innovation, and leadership.
Moreover, the ACS Catalyst Scholarship strengthens the Society’s long tradition of supporting young scientists. For more than three decades, ACS has empowered over three thousand scholars, and the new cycle continues this commitment with expanded academic and professional development benefits.
A Program Designed to Inspire Future Chemistry Leaders
The ACS Catalyst Scholarship aims to nurture students who want to use chemistry to create meaningful change in the world. It supports individuals driven to explore solutions in environmental science, renewable energy, biotechnology, materials research, water quality, and many other pressing global needs. Furthermore, the program encourages scholars to think creatively, lead confidently, and contribute to the future of chemistry with both knowledge and purpose.
To succeed in this program, students must show strong academic talent, genuine curiosity about chemical science, and a clear understanding of how chemistry shapes society. The scholarship also seeks applicants who want to grow not only as researchers but also as leaders in their communities and future workplaces.
