ABOUT Mepe Area Rural Bank
Mepe Area Rural Bank Limited was incorporated in May 1989 as a Public Limited Liability Company. It was issued with a Certificate to Commence Business the same year. The Bank obtained a banking license from the Bank of Ghana in August 1991.
It commenced business officially on 16th October 1991. The Bank had made steady progress over the years. From an initial stated capital of about GH¢50.00 its stated capital has risen to GH¢1,024,988 at the end of December 2020 and is among the top 5 rural banks in Ghana.
The Bank has its head office at Mepe in the North Tongu District with a Branch at Sogakope in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region of Ghana
POSITION: Head of Credit Department.
QUALIFICATION
- First Degree in Banking & Finance, Agriculture or Economics with at least seven (7) years work experience, three (3) of which must be at a Senior Management Level.
- MBA will be an advantage.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Applicant must have knowledge in: –
- Group Loans/Microfinance
- Commercial loan application processes to disbursement
- Loan monitoring and administration
- Borrowing for On-Lending
- Preparing prudential returns and classification of advances in accordance with Bank of
