POSITION: Sales Attendant
JOB DESCRIPTION
A sales attendant provides customer service in a retail setting. You will work on the sales floor providing assistance directly to customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT Modern Floors Ghana
- Greet customers.
- Answer customers’ questions.
- Look for stock requested by customers.
- Keep the stock room organized.
- Pack shelves neatly.
- Create attractive displays.
- Elevate customer complaints to the manager.
- Complete transactions, set up merchandise displays, work with other store personnel, and do inventory.
- The sales assistant is also responsible for repacking shelves and ensuring that the store is clean.
SKILLS NEEDED
- You must have excellent customer service skills.
- Extensive experience selling comparable products.
- Ability to design and create spaces that are engaging and welcoming.
- Capacity to convince stubborn and indecisive clients to make purchases.
- Top-notch training and mentoring skills.
- Outstanding teamwork, communication, and arbitration abilities.
- Excellent written skills.
- Remain calm when dealing with difficult customers and elevate complaints to the manager where needed.
- Friendly disposition.
- Flexible work hours.
- Ability to multitask.
LOCATION: Preference will be given to the following candidates
- Residing within Spintex, East Legon, Tema, Weija and its surroundings
- Proficient use of social media, ms office, and basic computing skills
- 2 years or more experience in respective positions
