Job Duties

As a Civil Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Modifying designs for reinforced concrete and steel structures following relevant codes and methodologies.
Coordinating with CAD designers and engineers to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
Managing engineering changes in accordance with company procedures and quality assurance processes.
Responding to Field Change Requests and Site Non-Conformance issues from civil works contractors.
Collaborating with site engineering and construction teams to clarify requests and solutions.
Liaising with the design back office located in France, Poland, Romania, and Tunisia for design clarifications.
Conducting technical reviews of contractor deliverables, including site walkdowns and inspections.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

A degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience is required.
Comprehensive knowledge of detailed design phases and transition to construction is essential.
Experience in working within a highly regulated industry, following Eurocodes and British Standards.
Proficiency with reinforced concrete and steel structures is necessary.
Chartered Engineer status is desirable but not mandatory.

Candidates must also have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for BPSS clearance.
