In this role, you will become an integral part of our Digital Engineering team. As a Senior or Intermediate Digital Designer, you will lead various civil design projects using Autodesk Civil 3D. Whether focusing on infrastructure, land development, or environmental engineering, you will have the chance to make a significant impact. Job Duties

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Leading Design Projects: Manage complex civil design projects across various sectors, ensuring high-quality outputs.
Meeting Standards: Ensure all design work aligns with client expectations, technical standards, and deadlines.
Collaborative Integration: Work closely with project managers and engineers to synchronize design efforts with overall project goals.
Mentoring Team Members: Supervise and support junior designers, promoting their technical and career growth.
Facilitating Design Reviews: Conduct design evaluations that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Developing Standards: Create and implement efficient Civil 3D standards and workflows that enhance productivity across the business.
Championing Digital Engineering: Contribute to BIM initiatives and advocate for model-based project delivery.

Job Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

At least 10 years of civil design experience, preferably in a consultancy setting.
An engineering qualification, such as NZDE or BTech.
Advanced skills in Autodesk Civil 3D, including knowledge of corridors, grading, and pipe networks.
Proven experience in leading digital design teams and managing large infrastructure projects.
A strong understanding of BIM principles and digital workflows.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
