Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our customs clearance and freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a diverse range of operational and coordination tasks:

Manage end-to-end customs clearance processes for sea and air shipments, including imports, exports, and transshipments.
Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation such as bills of lading, air waybills, and customs declarations.
Coordinate daily ground operations for sea freight, overseeing loading, offloading, and port formalities.
Track shipments proactively and resolve any clearance issues or delays promptly.
Liaise effectively with suppliers, customs authorities, carriers, truckers, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Supervise inland transport activities to guarantee timely cargo movement from the port to the final destination.
Prepare customized quotations based on client requirements and company pricing guidelines.
Ensure strict adherence to operational procedures and document flow standards.
Monitor and report on shipment status, providing timely updates on exceptions or delays.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

One to two years of professional experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
Strong knowledge of sea and air documentation, including MBL/HBL and MAWB/HAWB.
Familiarity with booking processes, carrier communication, and Incoterms 2020.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding attention to detail and effective communication abilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience with Ghana’s ICUMS system is a valuable advantage. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple tasks, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
