You will ensure a streamlined hiring process while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities

Manage recruitment and employment records using Workday, including job postings and applicant tracking.
Create and update job descriptions and assist with internal job changes.
Provide assistance and information to applicants regarding the hiring process and status updates.
Oversee the adjunct faculty hiring process, ensuring timely completion of necessary paperwork.
Coordinate background and reference checks for potential hires.
Handle the Employment email account, responding promptly to inquiries.
Serve as a backup for E-Verify and assist in faculty recruitment efforts.
Monitor onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
Collaborate with departments to support foreign national employment and sponsorship processes.
Contribute to training sessions on recruitment policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

To succeed as an Employment Specialist, candidates should meet these qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is required.
Relevant work experience may substitute for educational qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
One to two years of office experience, preferably in human resources.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with software programs like Workday and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and HR practices.
