Duties of University of Glasgow Research Assistant Jobs 2025
- First, using standard research methods to provide both active and control TMS therapies over a four-week treatment period.
- Second, following safety rules and study-specific protocols to set up, calibrate, and use TMS equipment.
- Thirdly, we assist in recruiting participants, screening them, obtaining their informed consent, and conducting follow-ups in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethical research guidelines.
- Also, making sure that the clinical and research process goes smoothly by scheduling and managing participant visits, including baseline and follow-up assessments.
- Furthermore, helping to gather, store safely (in accordance with GDPR), and do some preliminary analysis of clinical, neurobiological, and TMS-related data.
- You will also keep complete and accurate records of your research, help write progress reports for the project, and help with data visualization, interpretation, and preparing the manuscript for publication.
- Last but not least, you will work closely with the diverse research team, which includes immunologists, health care experts, and technical staff, to ensure that the project is delivered in a way that is consistent and of high quality.
