Job Title: Heavy Duty Auto Mechanic

Role Summary

As a Heavy Duty Auto Mechanic at Zonda Tec, you will play a critical role in our operational excellence. Your work will ensure that our clients’ machinery operates at peak performance and that our new vehicles meet the highest quality standards before delivery. You will be responsible for a range of technical tasks, from assembling brand-new machines to performing complex diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily duties will be hands-on and impactful, focusing on several core areas:

Precision Assembly: You will meticulously assemble brand-new heavy-duty vehicles and machinery according to strict manufacturer specifications.
Advanced Diagnostics: A key responsibility involves inspecting and diagnosing mechanical issues within heavy-duty vehicle engines and systems with accuracy.
Expert Repairs: You will perform necessary repairs, which include replacing broken parts and resolving complex mechanical problems on various heavy-duty equipment.
Tool Proficiency: You will utilize a wide array of hand tools and advanced diagnostic equipment to assess issues and implement effective fixes.
Quality Assurance: Furthermore, you will conduct thorough checks on all newly assembled vehicles to verify they are perfectly assembled and ready for customer sale.
Breakdown Response: You will also be tasked with repairing broken-down vehicles, restoring them to safe and optimal working condition.

Your Qualifications and Skills

Essential Requirements:

A WASSCE, NABTEX, or HND qualification in Automobile Engineering.
Two to four years of practical working experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles and machinery.
Proven experience in the servicing and upkeep of heavy-duty equipment.
A genuine passion for vehicles and mechanical systems.
The ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a mechanic with excellent problem-solving abilities and physical stamina. You must be a reliable team player with strong communication skills, capable of following instructions and collaborating to achieve common goals.
