Role Description

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor for a full-time, on-site position at our Accra office. In this role, you will transform raw video footage into compelling, high-quality productions that perfectly capture our brand’s energetic vision. You will be a key player in our post-production process, ensuring every piece of content meets our high standards for impact and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Editing and assembling recorded raw material into a finished, broadcast-ready product.
Collaborating closely with directors and producers to review scripts and understand project requirements.
Implementing high-quality sound design, precise color grading, and engaging visual effects to enhance the narrative.
Managing organized post-production workflows to ensure efficient project completion.
Maintaining the highest standards for video and audio quality across all outputs.
Ensuring all content aligns with the company’s creative vision and storytelling ethos.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Proficiency:

Strong command of professional video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Demonstrable skills in sound design, color correction, and visual effects.
A solid understanding of storytelling principles and visual composition.

Professional Abilities:

Proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork.
Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational habits.

Ideal Background:

Practical experience in television, film, or digital content production is a significant advantage.
A degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
