Role Overview

As Head of Operations, you will architect and implement operational strategies that enhance customer experience while driving scalable growth. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, optimize technological infrastructure, and ensure regulatory compliance across all operational domains. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies for business growth

Oversee IT operations and asset management within the operations function

Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate operational risks
Maintain robust control frameworks across all operational processes

Manage operational budgets with focus on resource optimization
Foster culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
Proven track record in operational leadership with digital transformation focus
Extensive experience in automation, process optimization, and systems management
Strong background in technical vendor management and performance evaluation
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-growth environments
MBA or advanced degree in relevant discipline
Experience in fintech, telecommunications, or digital services sectors
Cross-market operational experience in African contexts
