The For Our Future Scholarship 2025–26 offers a remarkable opportunity to transform your dedication into tangible impact. Sponsored by the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation, this prestigious award recognizes students who strive to make a meaningful difference in their communities.

Unlike typical scholarships, this program values more than academic excellence. It celebrates students who balance strong grades with leadership, creativity, and social responsibility. In the 2025–26 academic year, 15 scholarships worth HK$50,000 each will be granted to exceptional students across Hong Kong’s 14 higher education institutions. Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) can nominate up to two outstanding candidates.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must meet specific criteria to be considered:

Be a local student aged 18–30.
Enroll full-time in Year 2 or above of a bachelor’s program or a master’s program at a Hong Kong university.
Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.3 for the 2024–25 academic year.
Demonstrate strong achievements in personal development, including arts, sports, or music.
Show a commitment to social service and possess leadership qualities.

For first-year master’s students or senior entrants, a GPA of 3.3 or higher from their previous degree is required.

Application Process and Timeline

Applicants must submit their forms by 5:00 PM on Friday, 21 November 2025. After submission, shortlisted candidates will attend an internal panel interview at HKBU in early December 2025. Successful finalists will proceed to the Foundation for additional interviews in early 2026, with results officially announced in April 2026.

The scholarship awards ceremony is scheduled for 28 April 2026, during which HK$40,000 will be disbursed. The remaining HK$10,000 will be released upon completing the required service hours by 30 April 2027.
