Job Duties

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and workshop technologies effectively.
Perform maintenance services ensuring trucks operate safely and maintain excellent mechanical performance consistently.
Conduct vehicle inspections while identifying repair requirements before major operational issues develop further.
Support apprentices through mentoring, practical guidance, and continuous technical knowledge sharing professionally.
Participate actively within training sessions improving technical expertise and workplace safety awareness regularly.

Job Requirements

Previous experience servicing, repairing, and diagnosing heavy-duty trucks professionally within busy workshops.
Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures alongside proactive problem-solving abilities under pressure situations.
Relevant NZQA Level Four qualification within Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant Equipment servicing.
Class Five driving licence remains preferred, although additional licensing support may become available internally.
