Job Opening at Kindred Seed Academy

POSITION: Preschool Teacher

Are you a patient, caring educator who loves guiding young children through their earliest school experiences? Do you hold a relevant teaching certification, a degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Montessori background? Kindred Seed Academy is seeking a full time Preschool Teacher to join our new school in Ofankor, Accra. If you have a passion for working with young learners, can plan engaging lessons, and maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues, this role offers the opportunity to shape foundational skills in a nurturing, interactive classroom environment.

Why Kindred Seed Academy?

Kindred Seed Academy is a new school committed to providing quality early childhood education that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning. We believe that the preschool years lay the groundwork for all future academic and social development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will not simply supervise children; you will design developmentally appropriate lessons, create a warm and engaging classroom, track each child’s progress, and partner with parents to support growth. Teachers living around Ofankor or its environs will receive preference, but we welcome applicants from across Accra.

Your Mission

You will take responsibility for lesson planning and curriculum development that engages young learners. Your role includes guiding children in early childhood education, fostering a nurturing and interactive classroom environment, and supporting the development of foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, social interaction, and motor coordination. Classroom Environment

  • You will foster a nurturing, interactive classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and ready to participate.
  • Managing classroom behavior with patience and positive guidance, redirecting rather than punishing.

Child Development

  • You will guide children in early childhood education, supporting foundational skills in language, numbers, social interaction, and motor development.
  • Observing each child’s progress and adjusting activities to meet individual needs.

Parent Communication

  • You will maintain effective communication with parents, sharing daily updates, progress reports, and strategies for home learning.
  • Building trusting relationships with families, understanding their hopes and concerns for their children.

Colleague Collaboration

  • You will work closely with other teachers and staff, sharing ideas and supporting each other during busy days.
