About the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship

The Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship stands among Teesside University’s most prestigious awards. For the January 2026 entry, the university will offer up to 30 scholarships, each valued at £7,000, granted as a tuition fee reduction during the first year of study.

This initiative reflects Teesside University’s commitment to nurturing innovative thinkers and socially conscious leaders. The scholarship is available to international students enrolling in undergraduate, foundation, or postgraduate taught programs at the university’s Middlesbrough or Darlington campuses.

However, it is important to note that this award is not available for Teesside University Online students or those studying at partner campuses overseas. Additionally, the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship cannot be combined with other Teesside University or Alumni awards.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

Hold international student status and pay international tuition fees.
Enroll at Teesside University for the first time in January 2026.
Apply for an undergraduate, foundation, or postgraduate taught program.
Pay the deposit amount indicated in their offer letter.
Hold a firmly accepted conditional or unconditional offer from the university.
Study on campus at either Middlesbrough or Darlington.
