Job Duties

  • Design and optimise reaction systems, crystallisation pathways, and material performance under real-world conditions.
  • Develop advanced materials for construction and additive applications with improved efficiency and sustainability.
  • Translate laboratory research into pilot-scale and industrial production processes effectively.
  • Support pilot plant commissioning, optimisation, and ongoing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct structured experiments with clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
  • Address challenges related to impurities, variability, and scalability in material production systems.
  • Mentor and guide scientists and technicians while ensuring high-performance team delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align chemical processes with industrial requirements.
  • Present research findings clearly to leadership, investors, and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum eight years of experience working with inorganic or material systems in applied environments.
  • Proven experience scaling technologies from laboratory research to pilot or industrial levels.
  • Strong hands-on experimental skills and proficiency in analytical techniques such as XRD, SEM, and XRF.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams within research or industrial settings.
