POSITION: Sales Representative
Shinestar Ghana is seeking enthusiastic Sales Representatives to join our Coatings Division in Kumasi. Your Mission
You will take responsibility for identifying and visiting potential customers including construction sites, hardware shops, and painting contractors. Your focus will span customer acquisition, product demonstration, relationship building, target achievement, market intelligence, and reporting. Your ability to work independently and travel locally within Kumasi will determine your success.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans prospecting, sales execution, client relationship management, and market analysis. Here is what you will tackle:
Prospecting & Customer Visits
- You will identify and visit potential customers including construction sites, hardware shops, and painting contractors in Kumasi.
- Building a pipeline of prospects requires consistent effort and smart territory planning.
Product Presentation & Demonstration
- You will present and demonstrate our paint products, highlighting quality, durability, and environmental benefits.
- Helping customers understand why eco friendly paints outperform traditional options builds trust and closes sales.
Relationship Building
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, turning one time buyers into repeat customers.
- Following up after sales ensures satisfaction and encourages referrals.
Target Achievement
- You will achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the Sales Manager.
- Meeting or exceeding targets unlocks higher commissions and performance recognition.
Market Intelligence
- You will collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Sharing insights with management helps us refine our products and strategies.
Reporting & Training
- You will prepare daily and weekly sales reports, keeping management informed of your progress.
- Participating in promotional events and product training sessions builds your skills and product knowledge.

Education & Experience
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Attributes
- Good communication and negotiation skills for persuading customers and closing deals.
- Ability to work independently and travel locally within Kumasi as needed.
