POSITION: General Manager, Home Technology

From the outset, you will lead the full lifecycle of Fixed Broadband and Fiber to the Home services. What You Will Drive

In this role, you will combine strategic thinking with execution excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

Technology Strategy and Innovation

Define and lead the long-term vision for broadband technologies and home connectivity
Guide network evolution, capacity planning, and rollout strategies
Introduce innovative platforms that enhance digital services and customer engagement

Program Delivery and Network Excellence

Oversee large-scale broadband projects from planning through execution
Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards
Strengthen network performance by improving speed, stability, and service reliability

Cross Functional Leadership

Coordinate teams across technology, operations, commercial, and digital units
Align product launches with seamless service delivery and onboarding processes
Drive collaboration to improve overall customer experience

Customer Experience and Growth

Enhance service quality to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
Reduce churn while increasing revenue and usage across home broadband services
Promote digital self-service solutions that simplify customer interactions

Financial and Operational Impact

Beyond technical leadership, you will play a critical role in business performance. Therefore, you will:

Monitor budgets and ensure efficient use of resources
Lead cost optimization initiatives across broadband operations
Negotiate high value contracts with vendors and partners
Deliver key performance indicators such as revenue growth, network availability, and customer satisfaction

Additionally, you will use data and insights to guide senior leadership decisions. This ensures that investments align with both short-term gains and long-term sustainability.

Stakeholder Engagement and Industry Leadership

Requirements for Success

To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or MSc
At least ten years of experience in telecommunications or technology leadership
A minimum of five years in senior management roles
Proven success in broadband rollout, digital transformation, or network evolution

Furthermore, certifications in project management, Agile methodologies, or IT service management will strengthen your profile.
