POSITION: Technical Product Manager

Your Mission

You will take ownership of Esoko’s digital product portfolio, guiding products from concept through launch and continuous improvement. Working closely with engineering, design, data, and commercial teams, you will deliver practical, scalable, and user centered solutions. Your decisions will directly influence how farmers access market information, how agribusinesses manage operations, and how partners leverage data for better outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans strategy, discovery, execution, and stakeholder collaboration. Here is what you will tackle:

Vision & Roadmap

  • You will define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with organizational objectives. Your strategic direction keeps everyone moving toward shared goals.

Discovery & Requirements

  • Conducting product discovery through user research, market insights, and data analysis ensures you build what users truly need.
  • Translating business and user needs into clear product requirements and user stories bridges the gap between ideas and execution.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver high quality product features and improvements requires clear communication and shared accountability.
  • Monitoring product performance using key metrics allows you to continuously enhance functionality and usability based on real data.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders across product, operations, marketing, and sales teams keeps everyone aligned and informed.
  • Supporting product launches, adoption, and ongoing improvements ensures your products achieve their full potential in the market.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the right mix of education, experience, and personal attributes. Here is what you need:

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital platforms, mobile applications, or software based products.
  • A strong understanding of Agile development methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into informed product decisions.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams within a technology driven environment.
  • Product Management certification such as CSPO, PMP, or equivalent gives you an added advantage.

Location & Travel: This role is primarily based on site in Accra. However, you may need to travel occasionally to partner sites, field programs, and stakeholder engagements as required.
