Job Duties
- Develop and maintain software systems and databases supporting Chemputation and digital chemistry research projects.
- Design algorithms and automation solutions for chemical experimentation and data-driven scientific workflows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across artificial intelligence, robotics, and chemistry domains effectively.
- Implement programming and scripting solutions using languages such as Python for research and development tasks.
- Support integration of embedded systems, hardware, and software within automated laboratory environments.
- Contribute to research publications, documentation, and dissemination of scientific findings consistently.
- Assist in coordinating research activities and managing collaborative projects for senior-level appointments.
Job Requirements
- PhD in Computing, Chemistry, or a related discipline with strong software development experience.
- Proven expertise in programming, scripting, and algorithm development within research or industry environments.
- Interest or experience in artificial intelligence, robotics, or chemical automation technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support interdisciplinary research challenges effectively.
- Experience in database development and software engineering practices within complex systems.
