This role supports the company’s corporate accounting operations, overseeing financial reporting, month-end close processes, and consolidation of global financial results. About Role

The Corporate Accounting Manager will lead core accounting functions, including financial consolidations, month-end close management, and global reporting processes. The role ensures accurate financial reporting across domestic and international entities while maintaining compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and internal control standards.

The position involves working closely with finance leadership, global accounting teams, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) departments to ensure accurate financial insights and reporting efficiency. The manager will also oversee improvements in accounting systems, processes, and automation initiatives to strengthen reporting accuracy and reduce closing cycle time.

Additionally, the role supports internal and external audits while maintaining documentation and controls that comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Oversee the consolidation of domestic and international financial entities
Manage intercompany accounting processes, including eliminations and foreign currency translation
Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
Conduct variance and trend analysis for management reporting
Maintain SOX-compliant documentation and internal control processes
Support quarterly reviews and annual external audits
Collaborate with FP&A teams on accruals, financial forecasts, and variance analysis
Improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting tools
Mentor accounting staff and support team development initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
6+ years of professional accounting experience, including consolidation and month-end close responsibilities
Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards
Experience managing multi-entity and multi-currency financial environments
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
Experience with ERP and consolidation systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Hyperion preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within cross-functional teams
CPA certification or CPA candidacy preferred
Eligibility for H-1B visa transfer or extension
