Eligibility Requirements

Korea University seeks academically strong students with genuine interest in advanced technology fields. You must satisfy several conditions to qualify.

You need citizenship from an eligible region including selected countries in Europe, Southeast Asia, East Asia, or South Asia. Your parents must also hold citizenship outside South Korea. You must have a Bachelor’s degree already or expect to graduate before the program starts.

Language proficiency matters too. You need to demonstrate English or Korean skills through one of these accepted tests:

IELTS Academic 5.5 or higher
CEFR B2 level or higher
New TEPS 326 or higher
TOPIK Level 3 or higher

If you completed your previous degree entirely in English or Korean, you may qualify for a language test exemption. Students from countries like Pakistan and India in South Asia can apply if they meet the academic and language criteria.
