We are looking for a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Company Driver. This is not just a job behind the wheel. It is a position of significant trust. You will be responsible for two critical functions: transporting our company executives safely and professionally, and ensuring the timely delivery of our products to clients.

Key Responsibilities

As our Company Driver, you will be the link between our executives and their destinations, and between our business and our customers. You will operate company vehicles, including trucks, with the utmost care and professionalism. Your ability to navigate Accra’s roads safely, maintain your vehicle meticulously, and interact positively with people will make you an indispensable part of our operations.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Executive & Product Transport

Transport Company Executives Safely: You will drive executives to and from various locations across Accra and beyond. You will prioritize their safety and comfort, ensuring a smooth and professional journey every time.
Deliver Products Efficiently: You will transport company goods and materials to assigned destinations. You will ensure products arrive on time and in perfect condition, contributing directly to customer satisfaction.
Assist with Loading and Unloading: You will help with loading and unloading items when required. You understand that teamwork makes the delivery process faster and more efficient.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

Maintain a Spotless Vehicle: You will ensure the company vehicle is always clean, both inside and out. A clean vehicle reflects a professional image.
Schedule Timely Servicing: You will keep track of service schedules and ensure the vehicle receives routine maintenance on time. You know that prevention is better than breakdowns.
Conduct Routine Inspections: You will perform regular vehicle inspections, checking tires, fluids, brakes, and lights. You will identify potential issues before they become problems.

Record Keeping & Compliance

Maintain Accurate Daily Logs: You will keep detailed records of your daily trips, including mileage, routes, and fuel consumption. You will submit these reports accurately and on time.
Adhere Strictly to Safety Regulations: You will follow all road safety regulations and company driving policies without exception. You are a defensive driver who prioritizes safety over speed.
Follow Assigned Schedules: You will manage your time effectively to meet assigned schedules. You will also adapt professionally to changes in itinerary when they arise.
Communicate with Clients and Staff: You will coordinate with clients and internal staff to ensure efficient deliveries. Your customer service skills will leave a positive impression on everyone you meet.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a driver who sees themselves as a professional. You are reliable, discreet, and take your responsibilities seriously. You understand that driving is not just about moving a vehicle; it is about moving people and products with care and precision.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A valid driving license and a national identification card (Ghana Card) as essential prerequisites.
A minimum of 3 years of proven driving experience. Experience working specifically as a company driver is a significant plus.
Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and road safety practices across Accra and major highways.
Effective communication and customer service skills to engage positively with executives, clients, and colleagues.
Proven ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic routine inspections.
Practical knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance to identify issues early.
A strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and punctuality. You understand that discretion is paramount when driving executives.
Punctuality and reliability. You arrive early, not on time.
Willingness to work flexible hours, understanding that business needs do not always follow a strict 9 to 5 schedule.
A Senior High School Certificate or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
