About Role

As Clinical Physician Recruiter, you will manage full-cycle recruitment for physician faculty appointments, supporting clinical, teaching, and research missions across the institution. You’ll work closely with department chairs, Faculty Affairs, HR, Legal, and Immigration teams to attract high-calibre physicians while ensuring compliance with academic credentialing and immigration processes.

This is a hands-on, stakeholder-facing position combining strategic sourcing, relationship management, and operational execution. You will play a critical role in building future clinical leadership by identifying top medical talent globally and guiding candidates from initial outreach through onboarding. The role sits within Talent Acquisition and offers exposure to academic medicine, visa coordination (including H-1B and J-1), and complex faculty appointment workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for physician faculty roles across clinical departments
  • Develop position descriptions in partnership with department leadership and Faculty Affairs
  • Source candidates through academic networks, residency programs, and digital platforms
  • Coordinate interviews, site visits, and stakeholder engagement throughout hiring cycles
  • Maintain accurate records within applicant tracking systems and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with Legal and Immigration teams on credentialing and visa processing
  • Support offer preparation in coordination with compensation and benefits teams
  • Track recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill and candidate pipeline performance
  • Assist with audit readiness and accreditation documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in physician, healthcare, or academic recruitment
  • Strong understanding of faculty hiring processes and clinical credentialing
  • Familiarity with U.S. work visas (H-1B/J-1) strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms
  • A master’s degree or academic medical centre experience is an advantage
