Job Title: Senior Lead, Survivor Leadership

Are you a passionate advocate with a heart for justice and a gift for empowering others? Do you believe in the power of survivor voices to shape policy and transform communities? Can you envision a world where those who have endured trafficking become the very leaders who end it? If you are ready to apply your skills to a mission that truly changes lives, then we have a profound opportunity for you. International Justice Mission (IJM) Ghana, the global leader in protecting vulnerable people from violence, is actively seeking a Senior Lead, Survivor Leadership to join their West Africa Hub team.

About International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission is the global leader in protecting vulnerable people from violence around the world. Our team of over 1,200 dedicated professionals operates from more than 30 offices across the globe. Together, we pursue a single audacious mission: to rescue millions, protect half a billion, and make justice unstoppable. Moreover, we are not just a collection of individual experts. Also, we are a global community that genuinely cares for one another. We believe that the way we work matters just as much as the results we achieve. Therefore, we bring professional excellence to our work, and we do it with joy and celebration for all those we serve.

In Ghana, IJM partners directly with government agencies to tackle human trafficking head-on. We rescue victims from exploitation. Also, we ensure that perpetrators face accountability for their crimes. We restore survivors to a place of safety and strength. Moreover, we support public justice actors to strengthen the systems that protect the vulnerable. Our work is holistic, collaborative, and deeply rooted in the communities we serve.

The Need

For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered innovative approaches to protect vulnerable people from violence. The results speak for themselves. In 9 out of 9 cases over the last decade, our Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence by 50 to 85 percent for very large populations of people living in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact and protect 500 million people from violence, we recognize the critical importance of survivor leadership. We are therefore seeking a Senior Lead, Survivor Leadership, to lead the West Africa Hub efforts in empowering survivors to advocate on trafficking issues in their communities, churches, and with government stakeholders.
