About Role

As a Maintenance Assistant (Compliance), you will be responsible for routine statutory testing and general building maintenance across campus and associated properties. Responsibilities

Perform routine compliance testing, including emergency lighting, fire alarms, extinguishers, RCDs, and fire doors
Carry out planned and reactive general maintenance and repair works

Maintain accurate records of compliance and maintenance activities

Requirements

Practical hands-on maintenance or DIY experience
Ability to work confidently in built environments and resolve varied maintenance tasks
Flexible approach with willingness to undertake further training

Ability to work independently and within a team
Vocational qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in building/engineering are advantageous but not essential
