Job Title: Loan Officers

Position Announcement

ASA Savings and Loans LTD is seeking dynamic, goal-driven Loan Officers to join our expanding team. We have immediate vacancies in our newly opened branches across multiple regions. Currently serving 225,000 clients through 153 business units nationwide, we are a trusted name in microfinance and savings mobilization. Available Regions

We are recruiting Loan Officers for the following regions: Greater Accra, Ashanti Region, Bono Region, Ahafo Region, Bono East Region, Central Region, Western Region, Eastern Region, Upper East Region, Upper West Region, Northern Region, and Volta Region. Candidates from Upper East, Upper West, and Volta regions are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Competencies and Core Responsibilities

Successful candidates must demonstrate the following competencies and perform these essential duties:

Client Acquisition and Loan Management: You must be able to actively source for new clients, disburse loans efficiently, and collect installments promptly according to set targets.
Data Entry and Software Proficiency: Accurately capturing client data into all accounts and designated software platforms is a fundamental daily responsibility.
Credit Planning: You must prepare comprehensive credit plans for organized groups, ensuring alignment with company lending policies and client repayment capacity.
Savings Mobilization: Actively mobilizing savings deposits from clients and community members is a core component of this role.
Team Collaboration: You must be a true team player, working cooperatively with colleagues to achieve branch objectives.
Integrity and Honesty: A high level of personal integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct is non-negotiable.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of an HND or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized tertiary institution.
Must be computer literate with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth or naturalization.
Must be between the ages of 20 and 28 years.
Candidates applying for Upper East, Upper West, and Volta regions must be able to communicate effectively in the relevant local dialects.
