About Role

In this dual role as Project Manager/Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take ownership of multiple MEP projects from concept through delivery. Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scope development, budgeting, and scheduling for MEP design projects
  • Collaborate with architects, owners, and engineering teams to deliver compliant mechanical systems
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and site evaluations to identify risks and constraints
  • Oversee project execution, milestones, and quality assurance processes
  • Perform site inspections to verify that construction aligns with approved designs
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and meeting records
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to multidisciplinary project teams
  • Serve as subject matter expert during client meetings and design reviews
  • Support post-construction evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP design consulting
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. building codes and engineering standards
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit preferred
